From a refugee camp in Uganda to speaking at the United Nations, Duku’s journey proves that beginnings do not define destiny. What defines you is the courage to keep going.
The start of something greater
Duku didn’t grow up with opportunities handed to him.
He was born with a speech impediment. Raised in a refugee camp. One of eight children. His family arrived in Brisbane, Australia, with a single suitcase and a single word of English: “Yes.”
At school, he was misunderstood, bullied, expelled. But something in him refused to break. With no stage, no audience, and no polished accent, he stood in front of a bathroom mirror and began practicing his dream: to speak.
That mirror became his first microphone.
A voice that lifts others
Today, Duku is a two-time TEDx speaker, UN Delegate, and GAICD-certified governance leader. He holds a dual degree in Business (Management) and Law (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology, equipping him with both practical insight and strategic depth.
His voice has reached students, CEOs, ministers, and emerging leaders — not with rehearsed motivation, but with lived truth.
His story isn’t about perfection. It’s about possibility.
He founded Rich Dreams, a digital platform empowering individuals to document their success journeys and connect with purpose. He also leads HNH Wholesalers, supplying major hotel and hospitality brands like Marriott and Star Hotels — built from the same grit and drive that shaped his earliest days.
A mission that multiplies impact
Through the Duku Forè Foundation, he helps individuals and communities actualise their dreams — not just through inspiration, but through platforms, partnerships, and practical support.
